Builders Burpengary – Private Library Building Project Gallery

Client Brief: Client approached Andrew as she was looking for a Builder for a new home extension for her dream library.  The client had always dreamed of having her own library, and after selling her previous property, she was able to finally achieve her dream

Our Solution: Andrew met with the client, who shared her dream of having her own private library.  Her vision was for a traditional old English library.  Andrew was extremely excited with the prospect of taking on such a special job, as these types of projects are quite rare.  We engaged a Draftsman to have design plans drawn for the extension to the house for the proposed library.  We also engaged a custom furniture builder to design the library cabinetry, fire place mantel and storage.  After accepting the Quote, the next step was to confirm the design for the extension, cabinetry and flooring.

• New extension was built to house for library
• New custom French Walnut cabinetry with hand-made mouldings and fluting, and Fire Place mantel
• New Gas Fire Place, custom made with stone hearth
• New NSW Spotted Gum Gloss Timber Flooring
• Custom Built Bay Window to incorporate Client’s cushions, which had been in family for a long period of time
• Custom French Doors to match cabinetry
• Paint Library in Client’s selected colour
